If you’re considering going solar, don’t settle for second best. Read on to find a list of 8 reasons why Solahart is the smart choice.

Get smart, get Solahart.

1.
An unrivalled
commitment to quality

For almost 70 years, we have been setting the standard for solar systems in Australia. Our systems are designed for the harshest Australian conditions. Quality is ingrained in everything we do, and our obsession with solar technologies is well documented.

Our solar power systems only use world-leading panels and the world's best quality inverters. Our solar panels are consistent with Solahart's quality and performance requirements, using state of the art N-type TopCon monocrystalline cells, designed to achieve excellent performance under real conditions, even with low radiation intensity and on clear hot summer days. To complement our solar power systems, we offer a variety of energy storage solutions, including Solahart PowerStore, Australia's first solar-smart electric water heater, and home batteries.

Meanwhile, our renewable water heaters have established an unparalleled reputation for quality and efficiency. Our core range consists of roof-mounted solar hot water systems, slimline split systems - where the tank is located on the ground, and our Solahart Atmos Heat Pump.

As we move forward to the future of solar, each generation of the solar products we offer will be fundamentally better than the last as well as meeting our stringent standards of quality and performance.

At Solahart, our highest priority is to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of our customers and our teams. We're taking extra care to make all areas of our business safer, particularly our on-site Assessments.

2.
Rigorous
Testing

Before it's included in our range, each component of our solar hot water and solar power systems is rigorously tested to ensure minimal energy losses, maximum energy yields, strength and longevity.

We check solar panel flash test results on all panels and systematically check samples of solar panels received using Electroluminescence (EL) imaging, to ensure they deliver all the power you purchase.

We also conduct inward goods inspections on products received in our warehouses to ensure the quality is consistent with Solahart's specifications.

No matter which Solahart system you select, you can be sure of worry-free, trouble-free energy for years to come.

3.
Greater performance
for greater savings

Replacing a conventional gas or electric water heater with a Solahart could substantially reduce your hot water energy use. For ultimate savings, you can combine it with a Solahart Solar Power system.

Your local Solahart Dealer has been trained to use Solahart’s Savings Calculator, which will estimate how much you could save. The Savings Calculator will take you through some simple assumptions on your current energy usage patterns and actual site conditions to give you a good idea of how much you could reduce your energy bills.

Add a home battery system to reduce your energy costs even more.

Solahart is one of the few providers that can offer a full range of solar products, including solar hot water, solar power and energy storage solutions.

4.
Australia’s solar
energy experts

Choosing the right solar system isn’t easy. While price will always be a consideration, it is crucial you also receive the right up-front advice, a problem-free installation and comprehensive after-sales service, which is where we come in!

Solahart Solar Water Heaters and Solar Power systems are only available through Authorised Solahart Dealers, all trained and qualified to ensure you get the best solar solution to suit your family and budget. They will come to your home, discuss and understand your needs, assess the site conditions and provide you with the best options.

Our installers are trained in accordance with Solahart’s exacting standards and they all hold Clean Energy Council Accreditation (CEC), and every Solahart Dealer is part of the CEC retailer code of conduct scheme, to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your system.

5.

As each product has a different warranty period, please ask your local dealer, check our product pages, or refer to your product's Owner's Guide and Installation Instructions to confirm your product warranty period.  Solahart Warranties are explained in more detail at the following page: Solahart Warranties

 6.
Increase the value
of your home

There are many studies around that indicate adding solar increases the value of your home. For example, according to research from realestate.com.au, 78% of Australians surveyed said that a solar hot water system would add value to a home and 75% of renters said that they would pay extra rent to live in a property with solar energy.

Whilst this may not be quantifiable as such, you could expect that any significant energy saving initiative (such as adding solar) will make a home more attractive than one without. Adding a quality Solahart system to your roof should only enhance this notion.

The benefits of going solar are no better highlighted with the introduction of energy storage solutions such as Tesla Powerwall, LG Chem and BYD home batteries into our product range.

Home batteries enable customers to make the most of their solar investment by storing the unused solar energy generated during the day for use at night, and further minimising energy costs.

7.
Reduce your carbon
footprint

By switching to an energy source that’s clean and green, like solar, you’ll reduce your carbon emissions and lead a more sustainable lifestyle.

Switch to a Solahart Solar Water Heater and you could free the planet of up to 1.6 to 2.6^ tonnes of carbon every year. Add a Solahart Solar Power system and reduce your carbon footprint even further by generating power without the aid of fossil fuels.

Because solar is so good for the environment, the Australian Government Renewable Energy Target scheme provides a mechanism that offers generous incentives to help you make the switch.

The incentives come in the form of Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) that can be traded and sold on the open market or can be used as an upfront rebate to reduce the purchase price of your new system which could save you thousands of dollars.

^Greenhouse Gas Emissions savings of up to 1.6 to 2.7 tonnes shown is based on Australian Government approved TRNSYS simulation modelling of a Solahart 302L and using a medium load in Zone 3 and the Scope 2 and 3 electricity emissions factors for purchased electricity by end-users published in the 2018 July edition of the National Greenhouse Accounts Factors handbook, and apply when replacing an electric water heater. Any savings will vary depending upon your location, type of Solahart system installed, orientation and inclination of the solar collectors, type of water heater being replaced, and hot water consumption.
